Churchland Farm, Spittal Brook (Western Cleddau catchment)

In conjunction with the landowner, The Countryside Council For Wales and Environment Agency Wales, we are in the process of removing a large rock blockage from the Spittal Brook at Churchland Farm.

This was put in approx 30-35 years ago to supply drinking water to 3 fields. We are therefore putting in an alternative water supply, involving the construction of a reservoir further up the hill and pipework to transfer that water to the original holding tank.

Contractors have already carried out a site inspections and it is hoped that once tenders have been received and evaluated the work will proceed promptly.
