Project Partners in Wales

University of Wales Aberystwyth (UWA) is a teaching organisation, and the Centre for Health and Environment Research Expertise (CHERE) is a department of UWA aiming to contribute to Sustainable Development through the provision of expert services and advice to businesses, particularly SMEs in the Objective 1 Area of Wales.

Project Partners in Ireland

The Slaney River Trust (formerly the Slaney Anglers Development Association Ltd (SADAL)) represents angling clubs, anglers and fishery owners on the River Slaney. The Trust is committed to working with all who have an interest in protecting and improving the ecology, fisheries and riparian wildlife of the Slaney Valley.

The Trust's partners in this Joint Project:
The Central Fisheries Board
- a Government sponsored body which advises the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources on policy relating to all matters on inland and sea angling. It also provides specialist support services to the regional fishery boards.

The Eastern Regional Fishery Board - a statutory body responsible for the environmental quality of waters and developing and protecting the fisheries in its region which covers Eastern Ireland.

South East Regional Tourism Authority - a state-supported agency with responsibility for the development of tourism in South East Ireland.

Trinity College, Dublin - the oldest university in Ireland and carrying an outstanding international reputation.
